Behind the Scenes! Our 50th Issue Cover Shoot

For something as special as the cover of our 50th issue, we wanted to go all out. After weeks of sketching and searching for just the right inspiration, we brought together a dream team of wedding vendors and three incredible real life couples to make our vision come to life.
In preparation for the shoot, we collaborated with Sharon at Tiffanys Bridal and Theresa of On Pointe Designs to make sure we had the perfect accessories and attire for our models. We then headed to Diamonds Direct Short Pump the morning of the shoot to pick up some extra special bling. There is honestly nothing more fun than perusing all of the options at Diamonds Direct!
With Kim of Kim Moody Design handling the logistics, we were able to focus on creating just the right image. Of course, we knew that David Abel Photography was the man for the job! He immediately understood our Vanity Fair inspiration and came with a full-on lighting set-up to make it happen.
Hours of hair and makeup with Lou, Amanda and Britny of Lou Stevens Glam Squad, furniture re-arranging with Paula and Martin of Historic Mankin Mansion and posing with David, we have this beautiful cover to share with all of our brides and grooms. We cannot thank our six models enough. Even though Briana and Brandon, Krittika and Luke, and Lissa and Sheena had never met each other before, you would have thought they were all old friends. The energy in the room was exactly what we needed for the perfect shot!
