Tell us a little about your company
I started Richmond PhotoBooth because I wanted to bring a new and modern twist to weddings and events in Richmond! We are an “Open Air” Photobooth, with the highest quality backdrops, and the most fun and unique props. We add a fully customizable PhotoBooth experience providing your guests with the perfect party favor and a lifetime of fun memories.
How did you get started in this business?
I had been working in the restaurant and events industry for over 10 years and decided I wanted a change. After having an interest in photography for a while, I came to the idea to research and start my own company. I landed on Photobooths because it seemed like the perfect fit for my personality!
What’s your favorite wedding story?
I did a green screen photo booth for a fun and couple who used images of all the travels they had done together over the years! I think it was a great idea and a perfect way to remember and share with guests
Why do you like working with weddings?
I like working with weddings because I am a part of someone’s biggest day and that is so meaningful to me. I also like how much goes into such an important day and how vendors work so hard to make the couples day so special, and I love being a part of that!

From a vendor’s perspective, what is the one best piece of advice you can offer to engaged couples?
To enjoy being engaged! Don’t wait until the last minute to book your vendors so the planning process is less stressful and more fun
How far in advance should couples book your services?
I would recommend 6 months in advance to ensure I’m available. But if for some reason we need to be booked last minute we would love to help!
What inspires you the most / where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration in my family who lives in Nicaragua and has supported me in everything that I do. my friends and everyone who works in this industry.
What do you like to do when you are away from work?
My father is a chef so I have a passion for cooking! I love the beach very much! Live music is a necessity! Discovering places to eat in RVA! Ooh and I like to Cycle at Boho Cycle Studio!
What would we be surprised to learn about you?
I have a not very good at public speaking but I’m getting better!
