What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?
So much consideration and love went into the design of The Barn. Our goal was to meet all of the needs of our clients to ensure they have the perfect day that they’ve dreamed of. From the moment potential clients tour our property, we become a resource that they can trust. Our clients are our priority and our team makes sure that the entire wedding day runs smoothly and stress-free!
What’s your favorite thing about working in the wedding industry?
My favorite part of the wedding industry is the relationships that we have with our clients. We have found life-long friends who were once clients. We also love being able to follow their journey after their weddings- congratulating them when they welcome their babies, start new careers, and buying their first home.
What’s your best piece of advice for couples planning a wedding?
Our best piece of advice to couples planning a wedding is to have faith that all of your efforts will be worth it! All of the small details will come together perfectly on your wedding day!
What are your favorite wedding trends right now?
Our favorite wedding trends right now are the earthy themes. We’re loving all the eucalyptus! We also love the various shaped arbors. We recently built a hexagon arbor for all of our clients to use!. We have noticed many of our clients are embracing the “less is more” notion and we’re loving the simplicity!
If you care to share, what’s a funny/awesome story from a wedding you’ve worked?
We have seen a decline in friends and family giving toasts during the reception, but one of my favorite memories from a wedding was watching one of the groomsmen give the most hilarious toast. All of the guests and vendors were laughing so hard that we had tears!
What’s your favorite food/dish/cuisine?
Hamburgers! If I could have had a hamburger bar at my wedding, I would have totally done it! And warm chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven!
What’s the coolest thing you’re working on now?
We have a few weeks free with no weddings so we’re planning on creating another ceremony site. We are also busy working on “behind the scenes” things like building an inventory system for our clients and creating a whole new website!
What is your favorite season of the year and why?
My favorite season is spring! The weather is perfect. Not too hot and not too cold. And everything looks beautiful when it’s blooming! It is also the start of our wedding season!
