Bistro 27 is the place for your next Special Event! Bistro 27 is a lively Euro-American restaurant located in downtown Richmond, Virginia. Formerly known as the Kauffman Furniture Building, Bistro 27 opened its doors on November 5th, 2005, within the epicenter of the Arts and Cultural District, home to Richmond’s “First Fridays” events. Our menu is inspired by the local and regional farmers and watermen in mind. Great care has been spent on creating healthy, fresh options for our guests. Hand-rolled pasta, locally baked breads, fresh fish and seafood caught from the Chesapeake Bay, locally farmed meats, and a collection of seasonal vegetables, come together to make every meal a delight. In the case of special food requirements, we are happy to accommodate our guests to best suit their needs and wants. Children’s menus are available upon request. We even keep special doggy treats for our four-legged friends in the neighborhood.
The beverage program at Bistro 27 continues to expand and adapt to the ever-changing craft beer and wine industry. You will find up to eight draft beers on tap and an astounding wine selection to suit every taste. Our wine list varies from little known gems to world-class award-winners. With our 25-foot floor-to-ceiling wrap-around windows, we have the ultimate view looking onto the intersection of Broad and Adams Street. Directly across from the Maggie Walker Plaza, guests are easily able to pay homage to the well-known memorial. Our venue boasts more than 7,000 square feet of flexible dining space. If you are seeking a sense of privacy, there are two spaces allowing for such, accommodating up to 150 guests.
We are conveniently located in the middle of the Arts District of downtown Richmond, Virginia, across from the historic Maggie Walker Plaza. We are within walking distance of The November Theater, The Hippodrome, The National, The Altria Landmark Theatre, Dominion CenterStage, and The Richmond Opera. As well as the two Virginia Commonwealth University campuses of MCV and Monroe Park. We are only blocks from the Institute of Contemporary Arts and many hotels like The Graduate Hotel, Hilton Garden Inn, Quirk Hotel, Linden Row Inn, and The Jefferson Hotel. Richmonds new east to west rapid bus named the PULSE will move you quickly along Broad Street from Willow Lawn to Rocketts Landing every 10/15 minutes at $1.50 per ride.
