Wedding days can fly by in a blur, often spent with friends and family who’ve traveled far to celebrate with you. With so much happening and being pulled in every direction, it’s important to intentionally carve out time to spend with the person you’re about to marry! These 7 tips are thoughtfully built into your timeline by your planning team because we believe your connection and time together should always be a priority on your special day!
1. First look or first touch before the ceremony: This allows you to share an intimate moment with your best friend before the excitement of the day.
2. Write and exchange private vows: Set aside time to exchange personal vows in private, either before or after the ceremony. This creates a meaningful moment to focus solely on each other
3. Have 10 minutes of alone time: After the ceremony, take 10-15 minutes alone with cocktail hour apps and drinks to soak it all in before joining guests for the cocktail hour and reception.
4. Join cocktail hour! : Many couples skip cocktail hour, but attending together gives you more time to mingle and enjoy the celebration side-by-side before the main reception begins.
5. Dance together often!: Beyond the first dance, make it a point to pull your spouse onto the dance floor throughout the night for little moments together. *Queue Love Story by Taylor Swift*
6. Private last dance! : Arrange for a private last dance. It’s a sweet way to close out the day while cherishing the final moments together.
7. Plan A Getaway Exit!: Ride away to forever in style with The Mansions Aston Martin or Bentley Getaway Car. It’s a glamorous and memorable way to end your special day together!
