Twenty-four hours in on a dating app and Anna met her true love! Her first (and last) online date was to watch the World Cup at Penny Lane Pub. Fast forward three years full of watching soccer, quoting movies, galavanting around Richmond’s eateries/breweries, and enjoying each other’s company, these two were the perfect match!
Once covid and quarantine took over, these two opted to take walks around Chimborazo Park. Little did they know, this was the same location where Brian would pop the question. These newly engaged sweethearts bought their first home and moved in together!
Anna and Brian wanted a relaxed and comfortable feel for their big day. They immediately fell in love with the outdoor layout of Walkerton Tavern, from the gazebo for the dance floor to Historic Tavern. They chose vendors they have met through their Richmond lifestyle or recommendations!
As social butterflies, they wanted their guests to have fun at their wedding. Their all-in-one DJ and coordinator, Bow Tied Weddings gave them “the BEST dance party they could’ve ever asked for!” and planned the whole wedding weekend. The couple gave their wedding a unique twist by having The Tipsy Grape as a mobile bar. The guests and the couple LOVED this addition and it ended up being one of their favorite parts of the wedding.
Anna and Brian want to leave a bit of advice for all the newly engaged couples going through the planning process! “Try not to stress all the details, everything will come together. Have an open mind to planning and coordination. The wedding should be fun to plan, so enjoy all the milestones! Treat yourselves after you check things off your to-do-list….you deserve to feel happy about being one step closer to the big day.”
