How many years have you been in the wedding industry, how did you get your start?
Technically since 2004 when Kim, my wife and business partner, planned her first wedding. Then we got married in 2005 and I have been by her side ever since! 🙂
When should couples book their services with you? We are the first domino to fall in the process. Couples should choose a venue that impresses them and lays the groundwork for their vision.
What’s your most frequently asked question by engaged couples? We often get asked if they can bring in their own vendors, and a lot of times, it’s someone without a business license or insurance, so we find ourselves having to educate couples on the importance of working with vendors that are licensed and insured!
What are some trends you’ve seen in weddings recently that you’ve loved? Weekday weddings/smaller-sized events.
Do you have any pets? Yes – Abby is our 17 year old mascot puppy!
When it comes to food, what’s your guilty pleasure? Shrimp & Grits
How do you de-stress? I don’t get to very often but when I do, I enjoy a good Hokie football game with a drink in-hand.
