If you care to share, how did you get to where you are now – what drew you to the wedding industry? A beautiful new waterfront venue was opening and I just had to be a part of it! So, I took a leap of faith, a 50 cent pay cut, and dove right in! BEST decision I ever made!
What’s your favorite thing about working in the wedding industry? The amazing friends I have made through a lot of networking and a ton of weddings and events together! Second best – no two events are alike so it keeps it fun and interesting!
What’s a unique tip you tell your couples? Go with your worst-case scenario on the guest count when putting your rental order together so you are not surprised later if your guest count jumps up and you were not financially ready for that.
What’s your best piece of advice for couples planning a wedding? Don’t sweat the small stuff. Hire the right vendor team to do that for you. ; )

How do you de-stress? Beach, wine, book, my hubs – together. Scrapbooking, wine – together. Netflix, wine, chill, my hubs – together. Do you see any patterns here??
What is the last book you read, or movie you watched? I’m currently reading Where the Crawdads sing. The last movie was Sicario.
What’s a fun or unusual fact about you? I tried out for American Idol once when they came to DC. I didn’t get to see Simon, Paula, and Randy, but it was an experience I’ll never forget. We slept on the concrete floors in sleeping bags in line and took sink baths in the restroom. Lol!
Do you love to travel? If so, what are some must-see destinations or where to next? I am a HUGE beach lover, so anywhere with sand and warm water – color me there! My favorite beach destination so far has been Punta Cana in The Dominican. I also love the mountains and I lived in Colorado for several years – it’s a state I highly recommend anyone seeing at least once in your lifetime.
