How They Met
Diana and Bryant first met at work in Louisiana in 2017. Not long after, they each moved out of state, settling in different parts of the country. Despite the distance, they stayed in touch as long-distance acquaintances, sharing the occasional conversation about cars, food, and life. In 2020, they reconnected at one of Diana’s best friend’s weddings, and that reunion sparked something new, leading them to give their relationship a real chance.
The Proposal
After a few months of long distance, Diana decided to move to Richmond, where they began building their life together. A few years later, in 2024, Bryant finally popped the question on the most magical night of all, Christmas Eve. With help from Diana’s Yorkie, Sussie May, dressed in an adorable white turtleneck sweater and wearing a tiny backpack, he planned the perfect surprise. Sussie May ran into Diana’s lap, and when Diana opened the bag, Bryant asked the question that changed everything: “Would you do forever forever with me?”
The Wedding Day
The wedding day was everything they hoped for, romantic, fun, relaxed, and full of pura vida energy. While they embraced tradition where it felt right, they weren’t afraid to do things their own way. Instead of a formal cake cutting or saving the cake for later, they opted for cupcakes for guests to enjoy, while the cake itself was shared privately with family the next day. The couple focused on creating a true guest experience through every detail, from the stunning venue and incredible food to the thoughtful décor and effortless, joyful vibe. When it came to favorite moments, it was impossible to choose. Every part of the day felt special.
Advice From the Couple
“It’s your day, so do the things you want. Play the music you love, have the food you enjoy, and don’t feel tied to a strict schedule. Go with the flow!”
