Tell us how many years have you been in the wedding industry.
As an organization, we have been in the wedding industry for a few years now. In fact, one of our executive staff members got married here 9-years ago!
What’s your specific role in the wedding process? Are you hands on with the couples or do you work behind the scenes?
As the Event Coordinator, I make sure that The Byrd Theatre provides assistance to the best of our ability. This being said, I do work more behind the scenes day-of, and let the wedding party/planner take over!
When should couples book their services with you ? How far out from wedding date?
We recommend, as is for any private event, that you reach out as soon as you start to consider a date. We generally book up a few months in advance.
What’s your most frequently asked question by engaged couples? What are the options for a reception? We unfortunately do not have the space for any sort of reception, so we offer ceremony-only packages.
What are some trends you’ve seen in weddings recently that you’ve loved?
As an operating theater, we love when couples will put together short videos of their lives to play during the ceremony.
When it comes to food, what’s your guilty pleasure?
