Min and Michael initially met at church in 2012. The friendship flourished over the years. After almost 10 years, the pair had their first date in August 2021! In November 2022, after some fun exploring the city and eating good food, it was time to make the trek back home. Min soon realized they were on odd neighborhood roads and not the highway. Michael blamed the detour on the city traffic. Unbeknownst to Min, Michael was secretly taking her to Historic Tuckahoe.
Once they arrived at Michaels’s planned destination, they decided to walk around to explore the grounds, which is when Michael proposed! They were so in love with the scenery and decided to get married at the same spot 6 months later.
When making their design choices for their big day, they wanted a neutral color palette to allow the natural beauty of the venue and bursts of colors in the florals to pop. They had a traditional Christian ceremony and honored the work God had done in both of their lives and their parents for their sacrifices in raising them. “The entire ceremony was filled with love and joy.”
The couple shared, “The entire day was so perfect, but sharing vows with each other in front of all our friends and family was probably the most special part of the day.”
