If you care to share, how did you get to where you are now? What drew you to the wedding industry? I am a Virginia Beach native who studied Hospitality Management and Business at James Madison University! Through my schooling and experience, I developed a passion for weddings.
What’s your favorite thing about working in the wedding industry? I absolutely adore helping clients have the most special wedding day ever! I love the interpersonal relationships I develop with clients and vendors, and how every event is so unique!
What’s a unique tip you tell your couples? I always tell my clients that after the ceremony, take some time alone to share a glass of champagne and a few canapés as newlyweds!

What’s your best piece of advice for couples planning a wedding? Have a date night every week. Wedding planning is stressful, and you need to prioritize spending quality time together! NO wedding or money talk what so ever, just enjoy each other’s company!
What advice would you give to someone just starting their own business? Make sure you have a clear vision, while utilizing your strengths and recognizing your weaknesses. Take the opportunities you are given and be passionate about your endeavor as an entrepreneur!
What are your favorite wedding trends right now? I absolutely love mix-matched bridesmaid dresses!
What is your favorite ‘first dance’ song? “History in the Making” by Darius Rucker
How do you de-stress? I adore reading! I love all kinds of novels, from mystery to romance to adventure stories! The best way to de-stress, as it fully engages your mind and that wonderful imagination you possess.
