What’s your favorite thing about working in the wedding industry? Working the wedding industry, we love that we get to be part of such a monumental time in people’s lives! Marriage is such an intimate, beautiful thing and we just love that get to capture the moments that made that commitment official. We’ve had the opportunity to work with so many different couples and truly enjoy getting to know them on a personal level and always leave their weddings feeling like we made new friends along the way.
What’s your best piece of advice for couples planning a wedding? Our best advice is to plan your day as YOU envision it. Don’t stress about trying to please others or follow trends just because they’re filling your social media feeds. At the end of the day, your wedding is a time to celebrate the love that you and your partner share and should authentically represent who you are as individuals and as a couple.
How do you de-stress? We LOVE to travel! Traveling is the ultimate form of stress relief. There’s something so refreshing about visiting a new place with the people you love. Our most recent trip was to Iceland and it was absolutely breathtaking, we will most definitely be returning one day! We are also huge family people are honestly just love spending quality family time with our daughter, Carter Rose. Taking her on little adventures and watching her experience new things makes us so happy.
What’s a fun or unusual fact about you? We’re a husband wife team who’s been together as a couple since 2012 and married since 2017. We actually went to the same high school, middle school, and even elementary school but were never even friends until 2 years after high school graduation! We never had any classes together and were never anything more than acquaintances. For the longest time we just couldn’t believe that we’d spent so much time under the same roof without even thinking twice about each other! Either way, we are certainly happy that we finally figured it out along the way and started our lives together!
