Hi! I’m Whitney, the lead planner and owner of Harmonious Events, a Chester-based wedding planning company serving Richmond and Central Virginia couples. At Harmonious Events, I believe every couple deserves a wedding day that feels calm, joyful, and unmistakably theirs.
As a Richmond-area wedding planner, my role is to make things happen — not by taking over, but by stepping in exactly where you need support and tailoring every detail to fit your vision. From timeline management to behind-the-scenes coordination, I focus on making sure your wedding day flows smoothly so you can stay fully present for every moment.
Before becoming a wedding planner, I spent years working in healthcare and education. Those careers taught me how to stay calm under pressure, solve problems quickly, and support people through important life moments. Today, those same skills help me guide couples through the planning process and create seamless wedding days across Richmond, Chester, and the surrounding Central Virginia area.
