Creating a magazine cover is always a labor of love, from concept to execution, every detail is carefully curated to tell a story. For our latest issue, we wanted to capture elegance, romance, and holiday glamour. Today, we’re giving you a peek behind the scenes and sharing how this cover came together.
Jewelry That Sparkles
Jewelry: Diamonds Direct
No magazine cover is complete without the perfect accessories. For this shoot, we partnered with Diamonds Direct to showcase luxurious jewelry that elevates every look. Highlights included a Platinum Tacori Radiant Halo Engagement Ring ($4,290), diamond bands ranging from $1,600–$3,300 (sold separately), and elegant Akoya pearl rings ($2,450) and earrings ($2,100). Each piece was carefully selected to complement the gown and overall styling. From the sparkling diamond hoop earrings ($2,750) to the subtle pearl accents, every detail added depth, dimension, and a touch of sophistication to the final cover.
Flowers with a Statement
Florals: Vogue Flowers
To enhance the romantic vibe, we collaborated with Vogue Flowers. We asked for an asymmetrical bouquet with cascading florals that felt both lush and effortless. The bridal bouquet featured rich textures and seasonal blooms for $265, while a bridesmaids’ bouquet would be at $145 each. These arrangements brought movement and life to the cover, perfectly framing the bride and her gown.
Holiday Glam Hair & Makeup
Hair & Makeup: Vanity by Amy
To match the luxurious styling, Vanity by Amy provided hair and makeup for a true holiday glam look. From soft waves to glowing skin, the artistry helped highlight the bride’s features while keeping the focus on the gown and jewelry. Every brushstroke and curl was designed to photograph beautifully, making the cover shoot truly seamless.
The Perfect Gown
Dress: Evermore Bridal Boutique
For the fashion centerpiece, we selected Stella Couture, Style #24801, a simple A-line gown with a slit. The clean lines of the dress allowed the jewelry and florals to shine while giving the bride freedom to move during the shoot. Available at Evermore Bridal Boutique, this gown embodies effortless elegance and modern sophistication, perfect for our autumn-holiday cover story.
A Luxury Venue & Dream Cars
Venue/Car: Mankin Mansion
The cover shoot took place at the stunning Mankin Mansion, a venue that offers unparalleled luxury and style. Booking this location also gave us access to three dream cars for photos: a Bentley, an Aston Martin, and a G-Wagon. These cars added glamour, movement, and a touch of drama to the cover, giving the shoot multiple “getaway” photo options that felt cinematic and aspirational.
