When you choose South View Farm for your wedding, you have the option of using the classic Virginia Barn, a spacious red barn with grand doors and romantic string lights, for your indoor ceremony and/or reception. You can also choose to host your big day outdoors with an open ceremony and a reception on the large patio with a tent. Plus, with 131 acres of stunning property, there is no shortage of portrait locations for the dreamiest photos!
The Little Red Schoolhouse is also available to rent for your wedding weekend. “Usually this is where the groom and his friends hang out before the wedding, playing cards and keeping busy,” Tamra says.
What we love most about South View Farm are all the accommodations available. With a total of thirteen bedrooms in two separate homes on the property, your wedding weekend can truly be a family affair! The Manor House boasts ten bedrooms while the Classic Cottage has three bedrooms and a cozy den where your closest family and friends can stay with you all weekend long.
“We brought in award-winning interior designers, Kelly Gentry and Alison Raines, to make the Cottage and the Manor House incredibly special,” Tamra says. “Every space on this property has a story.” In fact, all of Tamra’s twelve children grew up in the Manor House, and there are little nods to each of them throughout. For additional accommodations, Short Pump and its many hotels and rehearsal dinner spots are just twelve minutes away!
