The Dominion Club

The Dominion Club in Glen Allen, Virginia, is a full-service wedding venue also known as the Wedding Capital of the West End. The elegant 28,000-square-foot clubhouse is customizable and versatile with four event spaces that non members can utilize for outdoor or indoor ceremonies and receptions for up to 225 guests during any season. The wedding staff at The Dominion Club offer many amenities to help you arrange your event in any way you like. They provide the set up and breakdown of chairs (Chiavari, wood-frame and banquet chairs) and tables (the sweetheart table, rounds seating six to 12, cocktail tables and other tables you may need for your event). Choose from a variety of colors of table linens, napkins, chair covers and sashes. Choose from a variety of delightful culinary offerings: carving stations, plated meals, hot and cold finger foods and culinary display are just some of the ways you can customize your reception.

There are numerous spaces available for ceremonies and receptions-

Upper Rotunda. This is an indoor cocktail hour option where there is a full service bar with a beautiful mirror back drop. The massive windows bring in a ton of natural lighting, which makes you feel like you are outside. The Upper Rotunda space also gives guests a sneak peak of what is to come downstairs.

Lower Rotunda. This is where you and your guests can enjoy a sit-down meal or a cocktail-style reception together. Combined with a private dining room, this space also features a 900-square-foot dance floor.

Rotunda Staircase. This magnificent double spiral staircase can be a wonderful area to have your wedding ceremony. This site may be your first choice for where to exchange vows during the cooler months or it can be a back-up location in case of stormy weather. Up to 75 of your guests can be seated and witness you exchange vows here. The area will accommodate a total of 200 individuals.

Lakeside Terrace. This is a grand location for an outdoor wedding, overlooking the Dominion Lake and surrounded by a beautiful, lush green lawn. The terrace features a 2,500-square-foot brick patio that can seat 225 guests. Marry under the white-pillar pergola, just outside of the clubhouse.
