Main Street Station

Magical place!

We chose the MSS not only for its beauty and history but also for sentimental reasons. For 3 years, my daughter would use the train to visit her now-husband while he was in law school at the University of Richmond. The romantic idea began there and continued to grow as we first visited the venue. We met Susan that day and she really excited us! Showing us around, telling stories of the history and how things have continued to develop to make this place an amazingly desired wedding spot. We fell in love with the beautiful bridal suite on site. It turned out to be a must-have for our day and the pictures in there are great too. The Station is the true photographic spot! The pictures inside, outside, on balconies and stairs, are breathtaking! The bathrooms are nice. The staff and guards were great. It was a true pleasure to work with Susan for our year of planning.

We worked with Amy Marie Events, a wedding planner that Susan recommended. She was fantastic! She really gets the feel for the possibilities of the space. She took Erin's ideas and visions of organic elegance and knocked it out of the park, not to mention the multitudes of other things she did for us. It was an unforgettable, beautiful, magical wedding day at the Train Station.

I cannot rave about this venue enough. Main Street Station was a complete dream venue for our December wedding. Our coordinator provided by Main Street, Susan Kennedy, was absolutely the best. She was professional and prompt but always made us feel special. Every hiccup before and during the wedding, she handled with ease. Susan was patient and kind, giving us many tours throughout the process. She is extremely knowledgable about the history of Main Street and remains proud of its publicity. I would recommend this venue to any couple seeking a spectacular and chic wedding.
