How They Met
Mark and Anne met in February 2013 at a work-related event. They started casually dating, and it quickly evolved into an exclusive and committed relationship.

The Proposal
According to Mark, it’s a funny story. After painstakingly viewing loose diamonds, he selected the setting and had the perfect ring made. “The plan was to take Anne out to dinner on the first day of spring and propose. However, while Anne was visiting my house for the weekend, the ring was delivered to her while I was at work.” Anne knew immediately what it was and was SO excited. “I had to propose that evening!”

The Details
“We chose the Tiny Chapel because it’s clearly adorable and Anne fell in love with it.” The two knew they weren’t having a traditional wedding and wanted an intimate and personal ceremony. “The Tiny Chapel and Pastor Bil delivered a wonderful experience for us!”

Anne’s son walked her down the (very short) aisle wearing a boutonniere of white Stephanotis while Anne carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses wrapped in satin ribbon.

With only three guests, these two weren’t too concerned with WOWing their guests, they just wanted to enjoy their special day becoming one happy family.

Their summer day was beautiful from start to finish. Wonderfully intimate, Anne and Mark had a wedding that was perfectly them.

Favorite Part of the Day
“We both agree that the first look of each other was our favorite part.” Mark says, “I hadn’t seen her dress or her hair and makeup, and I surprised her by wearing my uniform.”

Biggest Challenge
“We really can’t complain about any of it. Everyone we worked with was great and very professional. Plus, it was a small wedding and we think it all went pretty smoothly!”

Best Piece of Advice
“The stuff that makes great stories and memories are the things that happen that AREN’T planned! Perfection is overrated.”
