What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?
Colonial Downs is a very unique venue with space indoors and outside in beautiful New Kent, Virginia.

What’s your favorite thing about working in the wedding industry?
One of my absolute favorite parts of this process is learning about the couples’ love stories, especially hearing how they met.

What’s a unique tip you tell your couples?
Ask your caterer to pack away food for you (the cocktail hour food, the main course, the cake… everything) because likely you’ll have absolutely no time to eat any of it. And trust me: You’ll be starving when you get back to the hotel at the end of the night!

Also, don’t sweat the small stuff even if something goes wrong you will be surrounded by family/friends who will be there to help you!

What’s your best piece of advice for couples planning a wedding?
Start your wedding planning early! Set a budget, number of guests, venue, cater, etc. Take time to make a list and check it off as you go.

What’s your favorite moment during a wedding?
Seeing the bride walk down the aisle.

What are your favorite wedding trends right now?
Couples are leaning towards more bold colors. Instead of fresh flowers dried flowers are in.

How do you de-stress?
Take a walk by myself to get my thoughts together.

Do you love to travel? If so, what are some must-see destinations?
I have traveled in the past and Costa Rica was my favorite.

Do you have a pet?
Love all animals! I currently have a beagle and two cats.
