What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?
Our restaurant provides a beautiful, intimate venue serving award winning Italian food and 5 star service. La Grotta is a small family owned business that has been in Richmond for over 25 years.

What’s your favorite thing about working in the wedding industry?
Being able to share such a special event with the couple and families and seeing the end results of the planning process come together.

What’s a unique tip you tell your couples?
Try to allow others to “handle everything” for you so that you can really be present and enjoy the moment.

What’s your best piece of advice for couples planning a wedding?
Most importantly, try to focus on what you and your partner want, not trying to please everyone else. These celebratory days are about YOU!

What are your favorite wedding trends right now?
Small and intimate.

How do you de-stress?
The perfect de-stress activity for me is spending an evening at home, with my two dogs and a glass (or two) of Prosecco.

What’s your favorite food/dish/cuisine?
Italian of course!

If you were to meet any celebrity, who would it be?
I have already met her. Sophia Loren! I love the fact that she did things her way to succeed in Hollywood. Not losing weight and altering her nose, under the pressure of Hollywood executives.

What would your perfect Saturday be like?
Being with my family. My oldest daughter and her husband live in London. We all have not been able to be together in 2 years.

Do you love to travel? If so, what are some must-see destinations?
I love to travel and Italy is my favorite!
