How did you get to where you are now?
I started with Taziki’s in 2013 as a cashier!  I needed a career switch and loved the food industry.  Over the years I have worked almost every position in the restaurant, but I ended up in catering and fell in love!  We opened two other locations and I eventually took over the catering call center and management position overseeing all catering and special events!  Weddings have definitely been my favorite part so far with my career.  I’m a big softy, usually tearing up at every wedding I get to witness!  Paired up with how much I love Taziki’s and who they stand for and the food, I’d say I’m pretty content with my future!

What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?
Taziki’s food speaks for itself and you can taste the difference. With our meats and produce delivered daily, everything is hand sliced the day it’s consumed. All of our sauces are homemade, healthy, and delicious. Our staff is friendly and committed to making your wedding day flawless.

What’s your favorite thing about working in the wedding industry?
There’s nothing better than love and getting to witness it!

What’s your best piece of advice for couples planning a wedding?
Best piece of advice I would personally give is to invest in a videographer. It was the one thing I skipped and I regret it!

What’s a unique tip you tell your couples?
Don’t forget to eat! With all the tastings and work you both have put into this special day, don’t forget to enjoy it!

What’s your favorite moment during a wedding?
If I had to pick a favorite probably the groom’s face when his bride walks down the aisle!

What are your favorite wedding trends right now?
Barn venues! I love the farmhouse feel.

How do you de-stress?
I enjoy sitting out with my chickens with a cup of coffee! Watching them run and scratch around is enjoyable and relaxing to me.

What’s your favorite food/dish/cuisine?
Persian food! I love the Tadig which is a crunchy rice. I call it a rice cookie!

What’s a fun or unusual fact about you?
I actually had Taziki’s cater my wedding! I’ve worked at Taziki’s for almost 7 years, but still to this day, I enjoy our food.

Do you have a pet? If so, what’s their name and what are they like?
I have quite a few animals here out in the country, but my favorite is Tilda my silkie chicken. She has a cross beak and has some special needs so she’s extra sweet and loving!

What is your most used emoji?
The laugh emoji. I love to laugh and I have pretty funny friends! 😂

What is your favorite season of the year and why?
Fall! The leaves, the cool air, pumpkin pie, and of course it’s wedding season!
