If you care to share, how did you get to where you are now?
I moved to Richmond about a year ago from Alabama. I had always worked in events before and saw the opportunity to do that with florals and it immediately caught my eye! I’ve always loved florals on a personal level and jumped at the opportunity to do it professionally! I have been with Weddings by Vogue for over a year now and love it so much. I am constantly learning more, I am able to be creative, and I love meeting and working with our wonderful clients!
What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?
We work with you and your budget! We have no minimums, customize your floral plan to you and offer complimentary consultations!
What’s your favorite thing about working in the wedding industry?
I love getting to bring someone’s vision to life for their big day! Weddings have always had a special place in my heart and I am eternally grateful that I get to be a part of so many people’s special day! Being able to bring people joy through florals warms my heart!
What’s a unique tip you tell your couples?
REPURPOSE!! Floored arrangements down the aisle or at the altar make for amazing sweetheart table/head table décor!! A lot of people don’t realize you can repurpose many of your bouquets and arrangements so I always make sure to mention that to our clients.
What’s your best piece of advice for couples planning a wedding?
Do what you want for your wedding! If you want fall colors in the spring or do it! This is a day you will remember for the rest of your life so do whatever makes YOU happy! We do everything we can to ensure that we make your vision and dream come to life.
What’s your favorite moment during a wedding?
My favorite moment is when I give the bride her bridal bouquet! I love seeing the excitement on her face and the fulfillment I get knowing we made her vision truly come to life and met all of her expectations!
If you were to meet any celebrity, who would it be?
In no specific order, my top 3 are Dolly Parton, Stevie Nicks or Jack White I cannot choose I love them all!! I am going to see Stevie Nicks in concert soon and I am beyond excited, it has been on my bucket list for so long!
What are your top three favorite movies?
My top three favorite movies have to be: Big Fish, Good Will Hunting, and Tombstone.
What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
The Rolling Stones by a long shot! They are so iconic and one of my favorite bands, they have always been on my list of people to see. I remember listening to them with my dad when I was younger and falling in love with their music. I think I have enjoyed The Rolling Stones so much because they gain inspiration from old blues music!
Do you love to travel? If so, what are some must-see destinations?
I love to travel! Some of my favorite places to visit are Colorado, New Orleans and Gulf Shores, Alabama! I definitely recommend planning a trip to New Orleans especially during Mardi Gras it is an amazing experience!
Do you have a pet?
I have a dog named Dolly (: she is super silly and the best dog anyone could ever ask for!!
