What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?
Our food is healthy, authentic, and completely made from scratch. What I like about our food is that we have a variety of options for any type of event or couple. There are healthy options, like vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes, but there are also meaty dishes like lamb, beef, and chicken. We also have the ability to make your menu entirely into what you want. We have two wedding packages that couples can order from, or they can order directly from our catering menu, the sky really is the limit.

Not to mention, our food is not crazy on your budget. With wedding packages starting at $19 a person, our food is budget-friendly without losing any of the quality!

We’ll also provide staffing if you want or need staff. We do have servers and event coordinators to make the event go perfectly. Since we have three different restaurants, we can pull staff from all three. And since they’re people that are working with the food every day, they’ll know what they’re talking about! We also have drop-off, plated, and buffet options too!

What’s a weird/unusual tip you tell your couples?
I would tell the bride and groom to EAT on their wedding day! It’s so easy to get caught up in the details and checking in on everyone else, that eating takes the backburner. Enjoy the food you chose and eat on your big day!

What’s your favorite thing about what you do?
My job is a bunch of stuff in one, so it’s hard to pick one favorite thing! I guess I would say helping brides and grooms put together the perfect menu to help make their wedding awesome. I love doing the tastings and having couples come in and try EVERYTHING on the menu.

How did you get to where you are now?
Originally, I’m from Williamsburg and after high school, I decided to go to VCU. I studied business marketing and totally fell in love with Richmond. Once I graduated in the Winter of 2017 I knew I had to stay in this city I love! A position at Taziki’s opened up and I got to combine my love of marketing and food into one! I’ve been at Taziki’s about a year and I love it!

What’s the usual process of booking with you all?
Once a couple reaches out to us (via email, social media, calling in) the first thing we do is set up a preliminary phone call. During that call, we try to figure out the headcount, and menu ideas. It usually takes about ten minutes! After that, we’ll invite them to do a tasting where we want them to try EVERYTHING! After that, we’ll put together a proposal and create a customized menu to fit your needs.

What did you want to be when you were little?
I wanted to be a lawyer. It was because of all the Law and Order SVU I would watch, but as I got older I realized that wasn’t the path for me!

What was your first job?
I was a nanny during my time at VCU!

What did you eat for breakfast this morning?
I’m boring and didn’t eat breakfast this morning! I love breakfast food and brunching, but before work it’s hard for me to eat breakfast! I usually just wait until lunch and have a yummy huge lunch from Taziki’s every single day!

What do you like to do when you are away from work?
I spend most of my time either at the gym, playing the piano, or playing with my pup, Jake.

What are you currently binging on TV?
I just started Bate’s Motel. All of my friends recommended it and I love it so far!

What would be in your dream sandwich?
I’m a huge chicken salad fan! So probably a chicken salad sandwich…plus, Taziki’s has a great chicken salad that I LOVE!

What’s your go-to dance move?
I would say some sort of shimmy, I don’t know the exact title for it!
