The Renaissance

The Renaissance is one of Richmond's largest Victorian ballrooms. Completed in 1887 as the original Masonic Temple , it has been hosting events ever since. The Roosevelt Ballroom features 30 feet ceilings, 3 Holland imported chandeliers as well as floor to ceiling palladium windows. If you are looking for something a little smaller or need additional room besides the Roosevelt, the Adams Room can accommodate parties up to 140 guests. Great Experience!
One stop shop! The Renaissance has it all!
Most of the other venues we scouted before choosing the Renaissance, only offered the space - leaving it up to the bride/planner to coordinate food, decorations, etc.
Not with the Renaissance! We were immediately sold once we were told we could pick from numerous food options. Amazing food options at that;
- Bacon Wrapped Scallops
- Mushroom tarts (my fav)
- Chicken Tenders
- Potstickers
& much much more!
We had a heavy hors d'oeuvres reception and not a sit down dinner, but I can only image how amazing their full entrees are! (We were able to have a food tasting about a month or two out before the wedding as well) We also had "build your own mashed potatoes" and ham carving station as well. AMAZING!! We receive many compliments on the food selections.
Fully stocked bar!!! Both my family/friends and my husband's family/friends appreciate a good drink and The Renaissance offers a fully stocked (top shelf) bar.
The Renaissance is beautiful with no decorations - but they also offer numerous lighting options, table covers, table decor and so much more! Which made the planning of this wedding much easier!
Tommy and Emmett KNOW THEIR STUFF! They are THE wedding planners of RVA and I'd highly suggest working with them as much as you can. Their opinions and ideas helped me out with making last minute final decisions on things, but they won't step on your toes. They were there to please! :)
I LOVED our wedding experience at The Renaissance!
